Chicago Designer Elise Bergman Heads To New York Fashion Week

As a Chicago fashion supporter, I’m very excited to announce that local designer Elise Bergman has been chosen by Diet Pepsi to showcase her hometown style and bring a refreshing perspective to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Along with 3 other designers, Elise has teamed up with fashion expert Simon Doonan who will serve as a mentor while each designer creates 3 Fall looks. These looks will be unveiled at the Jonathan Adler-designed Diet Pepsi Style Studio Runway Show at Lincoln Center this Thursday.

Style Innovators: A New Series on Plum TV

I recently found out about this great new series called Style Innvators. It is a 4-part docu-interview series hosted by GQ Style Editor, Adam Rapoport. The show follows Adam on a journey inside the homes and studios of some of the most influential style figures- from Eric Ripert, Simon Doonan, and Jonathan Adler to Kate & Andy Spade- to uncover untold stories behind their unique visions and inspirations.

The second episode premieres Friday, October 22 at 8:30PM and features Simon Doonan, Creative Director of Barney’s New York and Jonathan Adler of Jonathan Adler Ceramics. The episode offers viewers an exclusive look into the couple’s home where you see what kind of TV they watch, where they get their inspiration, how they met, and the secret behind the Barneys display windows.
