Billboard Music Awards

Never have I ever…written about the Billboard Music Awards (until today). I always find it ironic that music and fashion go hand-in-hand yet the music awards shows bring out the tackiest of the red carpet (even the Grammys…which is the “classiest” of said awards shows). HOWEVER, so much went down at the Billboard Music Awards last night (well two major things I know about…as I didn’t actually watch…the weather was too nice to be inside!) that I couldn’t help myself but write about the red carpet today. Celebrity style, a big announcement plus the most highly anticipated music video of 2015…let’s do it.

2014: The Year Of [Insert Here]

It’s here, my friends. The last day of the year. Of course we can reflect on the awesome things we did this year (check!) or you can drown your sorrows in a bottle of Moet tonight and reflect on the not-so-awesome things you did this year (but don’t…it’s a buzzkill). Many make New Year’s Resolutions, which you’ll be sure to forget about by January 2 (January 5 if you have extra will power and good memory). But why get sentimental and serious? Let’s have some fun. Accepting The Kardashians

It’s funny that after having several fashion lines (you could try Sears), a multi-location clothing boutique (thankfully Chicago isn’t one of them) and a multitude of other things I literally can’t keep up with (pun intended) that it took Kanye West to get the fashion industry to accept Kim Kardashian. Which is ironic because no one really took his line that seriously anyway…
