Saving what everyone thinks of last…for last. It’s been a good run with this year’s holiday gift guides. Custom gifts, under $100 finds, fun and quirky presents and even the dreaded gift set, I hope you could find at least one thing to give this year (even if it’s for yourself!) from the CCF gift guides. But what would Christmas be without stockings, right? Good things come in small packages…so don’t skimp on the stocking stuffers this year.
Ah, the gift set. That thing everyone gives as an easy way out but the receiver is always stuck with maybe one thing they really like and all this other stuff they don’t need at all (or the entire set just sucks and in that case, it’s pretty much a waste of a gift…although we like to think it’s the thought that counts).
So today I wanted to take on the challenge of the gift set (whether it be in the beauty department, loungewear, and even some accessories) and find actually cool sets that you’ll be proud to give and your friends/family will love to receive.
In my first ever actually consistent multi-part series of gift guides this year, we’re now moving on from custom gifts to something more generic…but I’m going to [try and] make it more exciting. If you weren’t on a budget before, everyone seems to be on a budget when it comes to the holidays, but that doesn’t mean you should compromise your gift giving. So, today I’m bringing you 24 gifts (for both the ladies and the gents!) under $100 that you’ll be proud to give this year (and when adding to cart you won’t feel guilty about “quantity 2” because let’s face it, you’ll probably buy something for yourself…it happens to the best of us).
I admit, Chicago is no New York. We are a city that actually sometimes sleeps, our pizza clearly isn’t everyone’s favorite and we don’t have a cool boutique on every corner. With that said, I love sleep, I prefer Neapolitan style pizza and we just had four awesome new stores open this month. Care to find out who has graced this fine city with their presence?
When you come across one of the best dressed guys in Chicago and he just so happens to live by the motto “chivalry is not dead,” you can’t help but be intrigued by this person, right?
