Red Carpet Fashion: 2013 Oscars

Not to be a Debby Downer or anything but I was less than impressed with the Oscars last night. The fact that red carpet interviews ended an hour early on E! and I was forced to watch ABC coverage…that was not fun. And as far as the gowns go, I really was not blown away by anyone. So unfortunately, I did not have a” Gwyneth in Tom Ford moment.” However, there were still some notable looks that deserve some discussing. So let’s get to it.

The Best of the Oscars Red Carpet

Feeling inspired by the New York Times‘s Red Carpet Project, I wanted to make my own curated red carpet list with what I think to be the greatest Oscars red carpet looks in the last 15 years. Granted anything pre-2006 was quite difficult to choose (it just wasn’t a good time for fashion) but I found a few timeless looks that would make sense to see on the red carpet today. Because I just can’t wait to get my judging on this weekend, I’m starting…NOW.

NYFW Fall 2013 Day 5

Between meetings and shows, yesterday was one of those days where I was in a different neighborhood every hour. It was fun, but when time is of the essence it’s also a little nerve-wrecking. Not going to lie, I was kind of proud I made it to everything I was supposed to…and on time. Snaps for me. Okay anyway, first show of the day was at Milk Studios…

Red Carpet Fashion: 2013 SAG Awards

I always look forward to awards season, but I was reminded last night how boring the SAGs are. Thankfully, a few celebs brought some real fashion to the red carpet (otherwise it was mostly strapless and sparkles…my favorite). But overall I’m thinking just about everyone needs a new stylist…or a stylist in general…or better taste.

So let’s get to it.

Red Carpet Fashion: Golden Globes 2013 (Part 3)

If you’re reading this and have not yet studied part 1 and part 2 of my Globes red carpet commentary, then I suggest you get on that (this is very important stuff).

Done? Let’s wrap this thing up.
