Coming from someone who opted for a blurry seven years of life instead of wearing glasses (I feared contacts up until about a month ago), I get that it’s not easy to find stylish eyewear. But maybe it’s because companies weren’t thinking about glasses in the right way…

If you’ve been in the Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue lately, you may have noticed they’ve been making some changes. The best update they made, though, has to be Cusp (their contemporary floor). It’s well-merchandised, has all my favorite designers, plus it actually looks fun to shop. If you don’t know what I mean, you’re just going to have to make a little visit this week to see for yourself.

Last week I hosted Ted Baker’s Fall shopping event and because not all ChiCityFashion readers reside in Chicago (shocking, I know) I wanted to share some photos from the party so you feel like you were right there with us, wishing we were British, and listening to this sweet DJ…who also plays the trumpet.

In perfect timing with my return home from London, Ted Baker (a UK staple) is throwing a Fall shopping event this Thursday…and guess who’s the host?
