You may have noticed in a few of my blog or social media posts that I use the word fashun every once in a while. That’s not a typo, it’s really a thing…and it’s totally different from fashion. Curious to know what the difference is?
Even before “cool sneakers” were a thing, we still saw them every once in a while on the streets of fashion weeks worldwide. Clearly worn by the “early adapters” (they don’t follow trends, they start them) and now everyone has gotten on board. Today we’re going back to basics with one of the most popular types of footwear right now –white sneakers.
So I went from wearing shorts and a t-shirt yesterday afternoon to freezing my ass off in a sweatshirt this morning…you know what that means? I live in Chicago…and fall has sprung.
When we think of fashion week we think Paris, Milan, New York and London…but there are so many more happening all around the world that we don’t hear much about. After seeing some extra awesome street style shots coming out of Copenhagen, I thought another city could get the fashion spotlight for once.
Looks like I’m feeling inspired by the couture shows once again but this time it’s not what we’re seeing on the runway that’s getting my attention…
