Let’s Go Bulls?

We all know that Athleisure has been trending for quite some time now and whether you like it or not, it looks like it’s here to stay (at least for now). However, there’s been a specific trend — a sub-trend if you will — within this category, that I’m actually quite proud of (regardless of the fact that I have zero interest in sports). Are fashion folks now Bulls fans or are they just making a statement? Let’s find out.

All Buttoned Up

As much as I like to think I don’t spend my days aimlessly scrolling through Instagram, because I really don’t, every once in a while I’ll do some Insta-exploring (although I always seem to end up on someone’s account who has 1+ million followers, but they have no bio and I’ve never even heard of them). I digress, though. This is not about Instagram stalking. It’s about what one may discover is a trend when one wasn’t aware this was a trend in the first place (at least according to every trend report that comes out twice a year…sometimes four times if we’re really feeling Pre-Fall or Resort). It’s time to get all buttoned up, my friends. It’s going to be a wild ride.

It’s A Match!

Today’s topic of discussion is no new trend (like Drake saying “no new friends” but replace friends with trends…you feel me?) The matching set is something our mothers wore back in the day, when people actually bought “outfits.” Then for so long, any sort of matching looked like you were trying too hard (especially if there’s any pairing of a red bag with red shoes…something I despise to this day). Now there’s this new way of matching, and it seems to be sticking around for quite a while.

Best Of Coachella

There are two types of people in this world [that don’t go to Coachella] — you’re either endlessly scrolling through your Instagram crying on the inside with an extreme case of FOMO or you think the event consists of a bunch of posers who don’t even care about the music and you prefer more intimate concerts anyway. Regardless, let’s see what everyone wore this year. Shall we?
