As much as I like to think I don’t spend my days aimlessly scrolling through Instagram, because I really don’t, every once in a while I’ll do some Insta-exploring (although I always seem to end up on someone’s account who has 1+ million followers, but they have no bio and I’ve never even heard of them). I digress, though. This is not about Instagram stalking. It’s about what one may discover is a trend when one wasn’t aware this was a trend in the first place (at least according to every trend report that comes out twice a year…sometimes four times if we’re really feeling Pre-Fall or Resort). It’s time to get all buttoned up, my friends. It’s going to be a wild ride.
Spring Trends? Google It
Typically, we get our trend reports from blogs, magazines, and the occasional figure-them-out-yourself via Style.com (RIP) but would you ever trust a search engine? Google knows what’s in and what’s out better than anyone else because it’s actually what people are searching…or not searching. So let’s see if any of these trends are in your search history…
