Have you ever looked in that glass case at Neimans and wonder why those tiny McQueen clutches are a minimum of $2,000? Or Judith Leiber “bags” (more like figurines) can cost over $5,000? Although small in size, designer clutches do not come cheap. Contemporary ones can be under $1,000 (or close to it) and designer goes way beyond the $1k mark. So I have a secret to let you in on where you can get high end clutches for way less.
I never really understood the point of waiting in a line very late at night/way too early in the morning, in the freezing cold to get something discounted at even more of a discount…while possibly getting in a physical fight with some fellow shoppers. Why wait in line when you can shop from the comfort of your own home? Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday…it’s all the same really.
So if you’re like me and don’t do crowds but still appreciate a great deal, here’s a look at my favorite sales going on today/this weekend.
If you’ve ever seen me out and about, trying to watch TV, read a menu behind the counter, or pretty much anything that requires seeing, it’s pretty clear my eyesight is sub-par. Most people ask “Why don’t you get contacts?” I respond, “I don’t want to touch my eyes.” Or “Why don’t you wear glasses?” My response, “Most frames bore me.”

Even though people have been talking holiday for the last month or so (which is crazy), I think it’s a much better time to discuss gifts now that it’s November 1. Every year I tell myself I’m going to be a hat person and for some reason I never really get around to it. Whether it’s a floppy hat in the summer or a cute trapper for the winter, I always just seem to opt for a hood instead. Well this year is going to be different.
