Throwback Thursday: Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton

It was a good run, guys. In case you haven’t heard, Marc Jacobs just left Louis Vuitton after being their Creative Director for 16 years. His recent collection that showed just yesterday at Paris Fashion Week was his last. From pajama dressing to fur in some interesting places, and everything in between, we’re throwing back this Thursday to look at Marc’s evolution at Louis Vuitton.

Designer Spotlight: Sandro

If you’re familiar at all with Sandro you may know that the brand has been around for quite some time (since 1984 to be exact) so you may be thinking to yourself…why would Jena be spotlighting a designer that’s been around for nearly 30 years? Well because as much as I like to stay on top of all things fashion, I clearly missed something and only knew about Sandro within the last 3 years or so. And after spending some time in Paris recently (and by recently I mean just last week) the word SANDRO has been drilled into my head. And today, we’re going to talk about it.

On My Mind: London Fashion (Part 2)

Right before I left for London, I shared with you some of my favorite British fashion designers but because there were too many to fit into one post, a part 2 was definitely in order. So now that I’m back in the states, I’m just going to continue to gush over how much I love the fashion in London and also how fantastic it is that the city supports their ever-growing fashion scene (Chicago, take note).

London Fashion Week

Yesterday I finally shared my first London update and now the journey continues, but this time with one of the coolest things I got to do during my trip — experience a different kind of fashion week. I think you can put two and two together to figure out which one.

On My Mind: London Fashion (Part 1)

Tomorrow is a very exciting day…one that’s will soon put me in a place where I eat my body weight in fish and chips, where public transportation is actually efficient and where I pay tribute to the greatest band of all time — the Spice Girls of course.
