Lower Wacker can seem like a scary place…it’s dark, smells like pee and if you’re not paying attention you can easily get hit by a car. So I thought that would be the perfect backdrop for some Halloween-esque photos. And because I don’t do costumes, this bat sweater is the closest you’ll get.
Every year I tell myself I’m going to be a hat person and for some reason I never really get around to it. Whether it’s a floppy hat in the summer or a cute trapper for the winter, I always just seem to opt for a hood instead. Well this year is going to be different.
After being at the top of my “restaurants to try in Chicago” list or over 2 years now (this list is constantly growing by the way), I finally got to dine at Schwa. You have no idea how excited I get to cross a restaurant off this list (well technically just remove it from the notes section of my iPhone) but this one was especially thrilling.
With all this leather talk lately (along with the fact that it’s jumped from 75 degrees to just below 50 degrees overnight), I thought it was the perfect time to bring out my new coat…complete with leather sleeves. I’ve also been very into navy and black so when I saw this coat, you can only imagine how I felt about it.
