If you have watched any TV, gotten on the Internet or spoken to anyone in the last week or so I’m sure you know how hard hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast. The extent of my current events knowledge rarely surpasses E! News but even I have been tuning into CNN and other news channels every day since.
If you were wondering why Nicolas Ghesquière was trending on Twitter yesterday and you’re unsure of who he is, this might explain. It was announced yesterday morning that Balenciaga has parted ways with long time Creative Director, Nicolas Ghesquière and because I like to assume fashion people make up for a majority of Twitter users, this is why Nicolas was trending.
One of my favorite types of projects to take on are ones that involve styling looks for various occasions, so I was beyond excited to be involved in the CANVAS Lands’ End blog-up shop series.
When it comes to outerwear, the last thing you want to feel is constricted. It’s cold, you’re pale and wearing at least 2 other layers…how can you feel comfortable anything fitted? When it comes to getting dressed in general, I’m always down for anything oversized. And when it’s outerwear…I truly believe “the bigger the better.”
Even though people have been talking holiday for the last month or so (which is crazy), I think it’s a much better time to discuss gifts now that it’s November 1. Still early, but a little more acceptable. And in exactly one month from today you’ll be able to shop the Neiman Marcus x Target holiday collection…which I’m pretty excited for. Photos of the full collection are now out, along with the sketches from each designer to show their inspiration.
