Fall ’16 Campaigns

Every fashion enthusiast’s favorite time of year is just around the corner and that is FALL FASHUN!! Chunky knits, ankle boots, all things leather, layers…if you’re waving your hands in the air like you just don’t care at the thought of these things, then take a deep breath and get it together because it’s time for the Fall 2016 fashion campaigns (basically the most unattainable ways to wear Fall fashion but who cares because it’s PRETTY!)

There are some incredible campaign shoots this season but today we’re only going to discuss the ones you need to see (plus if you’re sick of that what have you been binge watching on Netflix? water cooler chat, this also makes for a great topic conversation…although most people will probably have no idea what you’re talking about). So let’s see who won at the Fall ’16 campaigns, shall we?

The Givenchy Army is the new Balmain Army (sorry Olivier).

If you’re going to buy anything Chanel, you should get the most out of every single dime you spent (including the box for decoration, the pouch as a coin purse and of course the ribbon as a hair accessory).

Be afraid…be very afraid.

As a huge fan of Portlandia I am interested in anything Carrie Brownstein is doing (but according to kenzo.com/thereal, we’ll just have to wait until September 13 to find out). In the mean time, those clear boots are rocking my world.

Versace…it’s for the whole family!

Versace…wear it and men will throw themselves at you with a plethora of handbags!

Clearly, Versace is for EVERYONE [who is making a shit ton of money] — whether you’re single and ready to mingle or settled down with a ridiculously good looking family.

If Taylor Hill is selling Topshop, I AM BUYING TOPSHOP.

3.1 Phillip Lim ad or fashion blogger Instagram?

Bella Hadid can’t even with this creepy ass puppet and 90s kid hair cut.

Every time I see a Michael Kors ad, I think it’s the the beginning of an episode of The Fabulous Life of [a Michael Kors campaign model]. Also… #outfitgoals (specifically #pantsgoals).

Rough night?

Milly getting a little CRAY for Fall. Would you ever associate said images with such a brand? I typically think feminine, sometimes a bit preppy but now I have a new word to describe Milly and that is BADASS.

Season after season I find myself wanting to hang out with the Dolce & Gabbana girls…they’re always having the most fabulous time somewhere in Italy, and who doesn’t want to be a part of that??

Leave it to Kanye West and Olivier Rousteing to create both a Fall ’16 campaign and a music video all in one. Hate on Kanye all you want but both the images and the video are visually stunning. One of my favorite Fall ’16 campaigns (I love it as much Kanye loves Kanye).

If we’re going to riot and protest, can it at least look at fabulous as Moschino?

In case you haven’t been paying attention the last 15 years, Stella wanted to remind you she’s VEGAN AND PROUD.

I never really paid much attention to Selena Gomez until she got involved with Louis Vuitton…now I fucking love her. Ironically, I’m sure the reverse is true for most (loved Selena, now must own Louis Vuitton). Regardless, I’m still not over her Met Gala look…

The opening scene to the chicest scary movie of all time.

Although I was into the Balmain ads this season, the Gucci ads were my #1. Alessandro Michele has just been killing it as the creative director at Gucci and Fall ’16 (both the collection and the campaign) is no exception. It’s the perfect amount of quirky meets beautiful…just like the new Gucci!
