After a few weeks of it officially being spring…it finally feels like it! Spring vibes didn’t feel right when there was snow on the ground (which was only a few days ago…cool, Chicago) but with today being the first day of 2018 I didn’t wear a coat, spring vibes feels RIGHT.
The last few days have been quite the kick into 2017 — we officially got a new president (?), it was 60 degrees AND sunny in Chicago (just a friendly reminder…it’s January) and the most insane collaboration was just announced (which you’ll get to hear more about shortly). So let’s take a look at the first mood board of the year, shall we?
Hello again, friends! Long time, no see. This is by far the longest I’ve ever gone without writing a post on ChiCityFashion so thank you for your patience. Ever see a collection and wonder where it all began? The inspiration? The sketches? If not, it is something to think about. It’s funny when you actually get to hear or see some of the inspiration, you would have never guessed it had anything to do with the collection. Other times, it makes perfect sense. So today, with it being day one of NYFW, we’re going to look at some designers and what inspired their Fall 2015 collections you’ll be seeing this fashion month.
