This month’s CCF Loves is extra special, as not only do I order a lobster roll every single time one is offered (and I think I found the best one in Chicago, which we’ll get to shortly) BUT the creators of this particular lobster masterpiece I’ve known longer than anyone else I’ve ever featured on CCF Loves. Get to know the guys behind this city’s most talked about food truck (and my personal favorite) — the Happy Lobster truck.
If you were feelin’ my May vibes then you’re going to have all sorts of feels for June. New fashion and beauty obsessions plus restaurants you need to try, collaborations to shop and a few randoms in-between, here’s what I’m digging this month.
How it’s taken me so long to have one of my favorite people in all of Chicago as a CCF Loves feature is beyond me…but I guess I have to build up some anticipation, right? She was a foodie before the term foodie was even a thing — say hello to Amanda Puck!
A monthly mood board is no new concept but considering it seems like every other Instagram and Snapchat comes with the caption #MOOD or #VIBES (and I’d like to dabble in some other things besides fashion…there’s more to me than just clothes!) I thought I’d hop on the bandwagon but as always…with a CCF twist!
Although my handwriting has significantly gotten worse as I type away year after year, there’s still something about good old fashioned stationery that I love. I do still take notes everyday (a to-do list resides in a notebook and in the notes section of my iPhone…so there’s no excuses) and a thank you card is always in order for holiday and birthday gifts. But what’s better than your traditional note? A NOURISHING NOTE (and one from Chicago!)
