Although maneuvering my way anywhere on Michigan Avenue or Oak Street during the holidays is less than ideal, holiday-themed windows make it much more manageable. Especially those of one of the stores that’s best known for their holiday windows — Barneys.
Are you sick of hearing about the holidays yet? If so, you’re a Scrooge. If not, let’s keep talking about them (because Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You NEVER gets old and I happen to enjoy a larger man with a white beard in a red suit…only in December though).

I realize it’s barely Thanksgiving and I’m already talking Christmas, but let’s be honest…there were Christmas decorations at Walgreens October 1 so I think I’ve held in my holiday cheer long enough. One of my favorite ways to show holiday spirit is by sporting an ugly Christmas sweater. Now why would I want to wear anything ugly? Because ugly is the new pretty. Except when it comes to this.
It’s that time again…where it’s appropriate to wear red and green at the same time (outside of color block season), where you’ve spent way too much money (on both yourself and others…I know I’m not the only one), and where gaining 5-10 lbs is 100% appropriate (right??). It’s Christmas!!! (or “the holidays” to be PC)

But most importantly, be sure to do at least one good deed for someone else this holiday season. Not everyone gets to celebrate in style, so no matter how you do it… just let someone know you’re thinking of them 🙂
