With the Met Ball coming up (which happens to be my favorite red carpet event of the year) and the Costume Institute exhibition PUNK: Chaos to Couture starting soon, it was only natural for this to happen.

Moda Operandi Celebrates Fashion Down Under
After traveling to (and falling in love with) Australia 2 summers ago, I was beyond thrilled to see one of my favorite shopping sites, Moda Operandi, embracing the fashion down under. While I was there, I even had the privilege of checking out an exhibit at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, all about Australian Fashion Week…which is what truly sparked my interest in Aussie fashion.
Style icon and Moda Operandi Artistic Director Taylor Tomasi Hill was in Australia for fashion week earlier this month and selected her favorites from all of the shows, and they’ve been making an appearance on MO since. There are few websites with the influence Moda Operandi has who celebrate fashion in Australia so it’s pretty great to have the opportunity to shop designers like Josh Goot, Dion Lee, Michael Lo Sordo, Ellery, Ksubi, Manning Cartell, and Camilla and Marc.
Loving tropical prints right now? Then you have to check out the latest Autralian designer to hit MO–Ksubi (ps. look #25 is my favorite!)
If you’re like me and can’t pass up a bright print, don’t miss out on Michael Lo Sordo (trunk show ends May 31).
So if you haven’t yet, go discover some Aussie designers on modaoperandi.com. Want even more down under fashion? Check out the Moda Operandi Magazine.

Currently Obsessing Over: My Moda Operandi Wishlist
It’s no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with the only website where you can literally buy straight from the runway–Moda Operandi. Check out your favorite looks on Style.com and buy them a few days later on Moda Operandi…can it get any better? Now that’s fashion forward!
Here are the pieces I’m loving from the currently available Fall 2012 collections on Moda Operandi.
Mary Katrantzou is a designer who has intrigued me the last few seasons. Basing your brand on these crazy prints is quite a risk…but there’s people like me who can’t get enough of them! So, does anyone have $31,000 to spare so I can get this dress? 🙂
May or may not have already ordered these leggings already…
It’s Proenza…need I say more? Okay I will. That jacket will one day be mine (even if I have to do questionable things to obtain it).
If I can no longer get my hands on Proenza Spring ’10 (best. collection. ever.) Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 is the next best thing. The colors and prints are incredible and I’m loving everything about this outfit.
Haven’t been skiing in a while, but I’d definitely reconsider if I get to wear Fendi.
Fireworks print…on a top? Sign me up!

A Missoni Holiday: Interview With Margherita Missoni
Missoni Resort 2012 became available on Moda Operandi today. Although I wanted everything (as always), I decided to restrain myself…for now. However, I came across Moda Operandi’s online magazine and today they featured an interview with my style icon, Margherita Missoni.
Why a Missoni holiday? Because the Missoni Resort 2012 collection was inspired by a getaway to Europe or Asia circa 1920. Moda Operandi states “you only need two or three of these easy outfits for an impromptu getaway” but I have to disagree…because I think I need the whole collection 🙂
