And as much as fashion people LOVE to talk about how much they can’t wait for boots and chunky sweaters, we have so little time to actually show off our pedicures…and that time is quite precious to me. So let’s talk about sandals…
You know I’m always down for trying something new on CCF — whether it’s how to eat your way to better skin and whiter teeth or smiling hearts that will make you smile right back — it can’t be about fashion all the time. Today’s post actually does involve fashion, as it’s about shoes (our favorite subject), but these are way cooler than any other footwear out there (even my beloved Givenchy slip-ons)…
I have a love / hate relationship with regards to discussing trends. It’s sort of part of my job to share them but at the same time, I don’t want you to think for a second that you have to wear them. You never want to look overly trendy, but if there’s something that happens to be on trend that speaks to you, by all means GO FOR IT. So today, let’s find out what’s especially on trend now (including one I actually despise), if you’re actually going to wear these things and how you’re going to wear them. Ready?
Fashion can be hard to keep up with sometimes, especially when it comes to footwear. Do I go hidden platform or exposed platform? Or no platform at all with a single sole pump? Should I even wear heels? Aren’t sneakers and Birkenstocks happening right now? WHAT SHOULD I BE WEARING ON MY FEET? Well, let’s just say if you feel like Skee-Lo and you wish you were a little bit taller (and perhaps even a baller) you’re in luck!
As of last night, it’s official — we can no longer get away with anything shorter than a mid-calf boot, until this massive amount of snow melts (then in that case all of our shoes will be ruined, regardless). Tall boots seem like a simple piece of footwear, right? There are a ton of options, they’re practical, they’re [sometimes] stylish…but I haven’t always found them to be an easy thing to shop for.
