I typically don’t incorporate that much menswear into my wardrobe. I do have some “menswear inspired” pieces, a few unisex t-shirts but that’s really it. Today, I’m wearing a piece of menswear in this What Why Where feature. Can you guess what it is?
As you can see in previous posts like Totes Amaze and Adventures on Lower Wacker, I have a thing for weird sweaters. This one by The Muppets for Opening Ceremony is no exception.
When it comes to math, I am absolutely clueless. I use a calculator for things that most 5th graders could probably do in their head (so obviously I am NOT smarter than a 5th grader) but at least I can beat them when it comes to fashion knowledge. That must count for something.
One sector of math that didn’t completely kill my GPA in highschool was geometry. I like shapes on clothes, so I’m sure I could figure it out on paper. Granted I didn’t get an A+ (overachieving was so uncool at the time) but I passed…and that’s all that matters.
Lower Wacker can seem like a scary place…it’s dark, smells like pee and if you’re not paying attention you can easily get hit by a car. So I thought that would be the perfect backdrop for some Halloween-esque photos. And because I don’t do costumes, this bat sweater is the closest you’ll get.
So now that I’m blogging full time, I’ve decided to incorporate a little more personal style into ChiCityFashion. By no means will this turn into a personal style blog…but it doesn’t hurt to mix things up, right?
You might be thinking…what’s up with the title of this post? What Why Where has to do with how I’ll be laying out my personal style posts from now on. Things will make more sense once you click that “continue reading” button…
