Last week I hosted Ted Baker’s Fall shopping event and because not all ChiCityFashion readers reside in Chicago (shocking, I know) I wanted to share some photos from the party so you feel like you were right there with us, wishing we were British, and listening to this sweet DJ…who also plays the trumpet.
In perfect timing with my return home from London, Ted Baker (a UK staple) is throwing a Fall shopping event this Thursday…and guess who’s the host?
Chicago Shopping, Next Jump and the 900 North Michigan Shops are teaming up to give you the ultimate shopping experience for one night only! More than 20 of the Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile’s best known retailers are featuring one-night-only insider savings of up to 30% off plus VIP treatment — gifts with purchases, cocktails, and more. In addition, the 900 North Michigan Shops are hosting a Beauty Bazaar featuring complimentary services including make-up applications and hair styling.
Participating stores include:
This is all happening on Thursday, April 19 from 5-9pm only. Don’t miss out on the Beauty Bazaar from 5-8pm on level 2 of the 900 North Michigan Shops. You can RSVP here and as always….happy shopping!
Yesterday morning I attended the media breakfast at the newly opened Ted Baker store in Chicago. This was my first time visiting the Chicago location and I was beyond impressed. I have been in 2 Ted Baker stores previously (New York and LA) and I found it so interesting they really take the time to tailor each store to the city they reside in.
For example, Chicago is the “Windy City” so they included subtle accents of wind throughout the Ted Baker store here in Chicago. How creative is that?! I’ve been a Ted Baker fan for a while now but after attending this media event, I am a Ted Baker SUPER FAN.
Tomorrow I will be attending the official Ted Baker opening party. After experiencing the wonderful event at the store yesterday, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the party tomorrow night.
At the media breakfast, I bought a really great Ted Baker piece that I am so excited to wear to the event tomorrow. Here’s a sneak peak…
Once I have a full outfit together, I’ll be sure to tweet and post!
In the mean time, I definitely recommend checking out the new Ted Baker store at 1009 N. Rush Street in Chicago. I know you’ll find something you love!
**Update: Here’s a photo of Corri McFadden, owner of eDrop-Off, and I from the Ted Baker opening party
Ted Baker unveiled his first Midwest location at 1009 North Rush Street less than 2 months ago. I was very excited for this store to open because whenever I am in LA I always visit the Ted Baker store on Robertson, and I always pick up some new cool pieces that I can’t find anywhere else.
The new Chicago store highlights the best of English design elements while catering to our city’s ever-changing climate…which I can always appreciate when it comes to Chicago retail stores!
The Spring/Summer 2011 womenswear collection is simple with soft draped silhouettes yet playful with intricate, abstract prints. The menswear collection brings a softer and relaxed edge to traditional tailored looks by featuring offbeat color combinations, vibrant prints, and beautiful textures.
