After two weeks of airports, soft pretzels and being deceived by something “reasonably priced” when it’s really just in euros…I’m back in the USA. But before I get all Americana on you, there’s still a lot European goodness to cover. Of the three cities I visited on this trip, Berlin had some of my favorite street fashion. It’s not groundbreaking, but it is damn cool.
What happens when your street art loving self encounters 1.3 kilometers (or just under a mile, in American speak) of street art goodness? THIS!
When it comes to blouses and button-downs, I’ve never really been into them. They can often be too preppy and conservative, therefore I find myself in cotton tees and anything leather. But that all changed the other day during an extra special shopping excursion in Berlin…
If you’ve been on Instagram at all in the last week or so and happen to follow that really awesome @ChiCityFashion account, then you probably noticed the scenery hasn’t been looking much like Chicago. Between Oktoberfest in Munich and exploring Amsterdam for the last few days, I’ve experienced a lot of cool stuff that I just can’t keep to myself. So why not share? If you find yourself in either of these two cities any time in the near future and/or are looking for some unique shops to discover, then you’re going to want to listen up.
Whether I’m leaving for a weekend getaway or traveling abroad for 2+ weeks, there’s certain things I just have to bring with…and they almost always have to be travel-sized (after all, I have to leave room for shoes…and lots of them).
