What Why Where: Last Call

I’d like to say this is LAST CALL for spring (as I just keep thinking it should be summer by now…or at least be consistently warm) but really this is about Neiman Marcus Last Call…where I scored what I like to call “perfect Jena basics” for quite the steep discount. But you’ll just have to keep reading to find out more!

I got a little thirsty on this shoot so don’t mind my green juice.

BUT WHAT’S THE POINT OF GREEN JUICE IF YOU CAN’T BALANCE IT OUT WITH A DOUGHNUT?

WHAT (am I wearing):
Pants Vince. Top: VinceShoes: ValentinoSunglasses: Prism

WHY (am I wearing it):
If you’ve been following my personal style posts over the years, you may have noticed I’ve slowly evolved into appreciating more interchangeable basics rather than always going for the statement piece. Don’t get me wrong, I still love prints and sequins but I find myself in more neutrals and comfortable looks as of late. I tend to wear some sort of trousers or leather pants when it comes to bottoms (if I’m in jeans, they’re typically black) so I was pretty excited to find this side-stripe Vince pair at Last Call over the weekend. I wear a lot of black and white so it’s no surprise I picked these up. They’re just how I like my pants to fit — with a little extra room (especially for the days I decide to hit up Glazed & Infused). I could pair the pants with a colorful top but I couldn’t help but continue my black and navy binge I’ve been on for the last couple of years. It’s funny that I used to never wear navy because I thought you couldn’t pair it with black…and now I pretty much only wear it with black. Oh fashion, you’re so funny that way! Topping off the look with some strappy sandals and my go-to sunnies, and that’s my typical day of juice and doughnuts look. Isn’t it yours?

FYI, Last Call is having their Mother’s Day sale right now where you can get 40% off one item (and it doesn’t have to be for your mom!) But hurry because the sale ends TODAY.
