What Why Where: Pajama Suit

It’s pajamas. It’s a suit. No, wait. It’s…A PAJAMA SUIT.

You know those days where you just wish you could wear your PJs all day but you actually have to leave the house and look kind of nice? I found the answer!

WHAT (am I wearing):
Blazer: ZaraPants: Zara. Shoes: Celine. Sunglasses: CelineRings: Gabriela Artigas, Dana Rebecca. Necklaces: Tasaki, House of Waris.

WHY (am I wearing it):
With the super trend that is Athleisure, fashion has (thankfully) gotten a lot more comfortable. And it’s great that we can look put together and not feel constricted but these outfits are typically very casual. How often can you look somewhat dressed up and still feel like you could eat a whole pizza, walk an entire mile (okay at least a few blocks) or high kick in the streets (which I did…outtakes to follow)? That’s where the pajama suit comes into play (sleepwear as ready to wear anyone?) Now I don’t think pajama suiting is a real term but it’s the only way I could think of to describe this outfit. It’s a matching set consisting of a blazer and pants (so, a suit) but in the material of luxe silk pajamas (ironically from Zara, so not luxe or silk). I love matching sets because it makes more of a statement to wear it together but of course you can always wear each piece with other things in your closet. So to me, it’s a win-win! Pairing it all with some of my dainty favorites (new Gabriela Artigas rings via space519 and layering some old friends from Tasaki and House of Waris) and chunky oxfords…and you have yourself a nice night out (basically in your PJs).

And yes, that is snow on the ground…in April.

WHERE (you can get the look):
