Red Carpet Fashion: 2012 SAG Awards (Part 2)

You know I can never get away with just one red carpet blog post for major awards shows. So be sure to check out part 1, including a few of my best dressed picks for the night, and now to wrap things up…here’s part 2.

Photobucket Kelly Osbourne in Badgley Mischka

For someone who’s on E! Fashion Police, you’d think she’d get it right every time. When it comes to Kelly, there’s always some good elements and bad elements. The good here? This is a really gorgeous dress that fits her perfectly. The bad? The hair and the completely monotone look. Whether it’s skin, hair or accessories…this desperately needs color SOMEWHERE.

ps. if anyone from E! is reading this and you feel the same way as I do and would like to replace Kelly…I am available.

Photobucket Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza

This would make for a great wedding dress in white or a good red carpet dress in a bolder color. In this state (and with that hair) I’m just not feeling it.

Photobucket Julie Bowen in Temperley

She’s one that’s definitely a hit or a miss on the red carpet…never in between. This color looks stunning on her and it actually has an open back which is phenomenal. The only thing I don’t like is the jeweled detail at the shoulders, but hey…that’s just me being picky.

Photobucket Jennifer Carpenter in Pucci

Seems a little more casual than everyone else’s look but I don’t care…she looks AMAZING.

Photobucket Jenna Ushkowitz in Rebecca Minkoff

I don’t think she’s ever worn anything on the red carpet that looks even okay (which is unfortunate because I’m a huge Glee fan) and although this isn’t absolutely amazing…it will do for now. With better styling (a different clutch and an edgier up-do) this could have been kinda GOOD.

Photobucket Jayma Mays in Reem Acra

This is a seriously gorgeous dress and I love the ombre effect with the sequins. I think the train is a little heavy and long on her but other than that, she looks fantastic.

Photobucket Giuliana Rancic in Basil Soda

With the ruching, the various lines, the necklace (or is that part of the dress?) and the belt, it really seems like a of elements. But for some reason…it all just works here! One of my favorite red carpet looks Giuliana has worn to date.

ChiCityFashion Best Dressed Pick

She’s wearing 2 things that are VERY difficult to pull off–a mid-calf hemline and ankle strap shoes. Yet she looks perfect. How does she do it? She can wear anything, she’s super chill and extremely talented…I hate her/want to be best friends with her. Oh and can I borrow that clutch?

Photobucket Emily Blunt in Oscar de la Renta

Love the color. Obsessed with her. Hate one-shoulder dresses.

Photobucket Dianna Agron in Carolina Herrera

Insanely gorgeous color. Insanely boring silhouette. Kind of digging the hair. Obviously cannot make up my mind about this one.

Photobucket Ashlee Simpson in Jenny Packham

I really don’t want to like this because she’s always weirded me out but I actually love everything about this…except the hair. Makes her look 30 years older.  I just don’t get it.

Photobucket Angelina Jolie in Jenny Packham

Another black Jenny Packham dress, yet this one is completely different. I also want to hate this because I’m not an Angie fan (and it’s black and pretty boring) but I’m for some reason loving it. Clearly I’m having an off day…

Photobucket Amber Heard in Zac Posen

If anyone knows how to OWN a look on the red carpet, it’s Amber Heard. I love the cut outs and the silhouette but I believe this dress would have been so-so on it’s own. However, her stylist put it on the right girl for the right occasion…and it works!
